Graduated from Zaporizhzhya State Medical University in 1988, has a qualification as a laboratory assistant. He has been working at the Zaporizhzhya State Medical University since 1988. Postgraduate from 1988, assistant of the 1991 Department of Normal Physiology, ZSMU. In 1991 he defended his Ph.D. thesis "Purposeful search for substances with antioxidant activity in a series of derivatives of 1,2,4-triazole and quinazoline". Since 1999 he has been a senior lecturer of the Department of Normal Physiology at ZSMU. In 2003 he defended his doctoral dissertation on the topic: "Investigation of antioxidant properties in a number of derivatives of five- and six-member azaheterocycles, and to determine their effectiveness in cerebral ischemia". In 2004 he received the title of assistant professor and heads the Department of Pharmacology and Medical Prescription of ZSMU. In 2006 he received the title of professor.
Member of the Board of the Association of Pharmacologists of Ukraine. Head of the Zaporizhzhya Branch of the Association of Pharmacologists of Ukraine. Employee of the State Expert Center of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine. Scientific worker of "Farmatron". Member of two specialized councils for the defense of dissertations, leading researcher at the Central Scientific Library of the ZSDL ZSMU and Head of the Preclinical Research Division of the State Pharmacological Center MoH Ukraine. Co-author of such domestic preparations as "Tiocetam", "Thiodaron", "Cardiovit", "Cerebrocurin", "Indotril", "Thiotriazolin forte", "Angiolin".
The author and co-author of 715 scientific works, 182 certificates of authorship and patents, has prepared 2 doctors D. Biol. and 17 Ph.D., supervises 2 D.M. and 3 Ph.D.
He was awarded the Honored Diploma of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine (2010, 2012, 2014), Laureate of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine Award for the Development and Implementation of Innovative Technologies (2017).
